Being an association of Voluntary Organizations in the State, the membership of AFARM can be opted by VO’s working in the rural areas of the State fulfilling the laid down membership criteria. The present strength of General body is 66. The substantial number of AFARM member organizations are actively engaged in the field of Community based Natural Resource Management, Agriculture Development, Irrigation Management, Water sector projects & Community Development in general. General body draws polices abiding to the aims & objectives of the Organization.

The Executive Committee of AFARM is elected from the General body members, after every three years. The policies drawn in the General body are executed by the Executive committee of AFARM, through the different cells under the supervision of Chief Executive Officer.
